Electrical problems with 4x4

I have a 99 sportsman 500 that has been acting up lately. The first problems i noticed was with my kill switch not turning off the atv then the low beams didnt work and now the reverse override button doesnt work. All of these functions go in and out not working all the time is this a connection issue or do i need to get a whole new button assembly?

thanks

Don't know if your still having problems but this is my thought.

I would say that because all of the switches on that side seem to be acting up, it might be just a wiring harness issue. Maybe there is corrosion in the connectors or some mud that is shorting between two contacts in the fuse block. Or the connectors are just loose and as the quad vibrates it shakes loose then wiggles itself back on.

I would look around for a worn harness from rubbing. Look under the pod or wherever it pivots when turning.
If all looks good, take the switch housing apart and inspect it. Remove the connector one at a time, clean and reinstall. Use dielectric grease on the connectors.
Let us know how it works out. Good Luck.
