are polaris 4x4 atv's any good?

2002 700 sportsman, when switch is in 2x4 mode, when spinning rear tires in the snow the front tires will start to spin also, is this normal?

yes, this is normal. even on the new machines, you can get the fronts to kick in while in 2wd by getting the rears to spin fast. it has happened to me, its just the way the system works.

is this noise happening when the wheels are spinning on ice in 2wd?

the noise is coming from a worn out u-joint in the rear, thank you for the ideas
