330 trailboss fuel pump

I need to understand the mechanics of the fuel pump on my 03 330 trail boss. I am not getting fuel. When I take the fuel line off the carb should i be getting fuel when I crank it. I am getting fuel to the pump but not afrter the pump. Is there a aftermarket pump or even a rebuild kit. What goes out on these, there is nothing inside them except a spring and some diaphrams. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance, tired of wife hopping on my sportsman because hers is broke.
