Hello, I am new here, work in a small shop here in SE WA state, and have this machine with no spark. My experience with Polaris so far has always shown "no spark" to be the CDI, although I have only repaired one, a late 80's Trail Boss. I personally own only one ATV, and it's a hoot, an '83 or '84 Scrambler 3-wheeler.
Anyway, are there any PDF service manuals anywhere for this rig? I need to test the CDI using Polaris' testing info.

where at in SE WA. im originally from tri-cities, all my family still lives there. about the only way to test the CDI completely is to put in a CDI from another machine that you know is working and see if that fixes the problem. there are small test you can do, but they arent by any means full proof. also wouldnt hurt to take a look at the coils.
the only PDF service manuals i know of online are pay-for ones. but i think you can find them as cheap as $5 or so if you google it.
