parts interchangeability between years / models ?

Can anyone direct me to a resource where I can determine parts compatibility for my '93 polaris 250 4x4 vs. other (primarily newer) models??

Right now I am primarily interested in figuring out if any of the newer gas tanks, plastics/fenders, starter and/or 4x4 front hubs will bolt up / drop in?

examples:

i've found a 97 sportsman 500 and an 03 sportsman 600 being parted out

if you give me specifics, like this part from this year and model atv to fit on this year and model atv. i can check it for you. otherwise, you can find the PN yourself on any online microfiche, and then the PN for the other machine, and see if the numbers match. good chance though that not much will fit from the 97 or the 03, except maybe the hubs as 4getful2 said.
