Ok, so I am riding my 95 Scrambler 400 4x4 after installing rack. I have owned this for 2 years but not been able to drive it. So i thought I had it drivable and I made a short down the ditch and it grabbed real bad to the right and almost threw me into a telephone junction box.
I slowed down and stopped it and turned on the four wheel drive and limped it home. What caused that it,the hillard? The guy I bought it from sold it because the brakes locked up and threw his friend over the handle bars and got bad road rash. When I got it he right front brake was worn down to the caliper and the spindle was junk along with the bearings. I bought a used set off ebay and it has been on there for 4 or 5 miles of riding. I have a whole parts bike so I am going to swap out the whole right side but just wondering if anyone else has had this happen, I would be afraid to ride this thing. I was not going fast and my Dumb A$$ did not have a helmet on but did not like that feeling. I am pretty strong or I would have taken out that box!.
