Oil change

Do you need to use Polaris 0W-40 oil or can it be substituted with another brand or is it better to use the Polaris brand and the same question on an oil filter is there a crossover to another brand of filter or do i need to stick with Polaris

Thanks

I wouldn't use Polaris oil. Some of us here are boycotting Polaris oil Use Amsoil or Mobile1.Not sure of the numbers, but you can use other filters too.

If Royal Purple is good enough for the break in on Trucks and x-treme 4x4, It must be good enough for your quad

I use shell rotella t synthetic 5-40, actually in everything
cheaper and as good as mobil 1
used to be a mobil 1 fan but switched
purple should be just fine though it's a good oil weight should be 0-40 or 5-40
