07 Outlaw 525 IRS - HELP!!!

Hi, got an Outlaw for a few years now and I love it! Issue is that the engine head cracked and now it is in parts in my garage. Last ride I took, it overheated for a little bit and I manage to ride it home. Next thing we noticed is the garage floor full of oil, so we started looking. Before we keep digging down to see if there are more damages, we are trying to look at options to fix it...

Option 1 - Order the orignal parts from Polaris and re-build the engine...
Option 2 - Order the parts and a big bore kit and make the quad a even better racing machine...
Option 3 - Try to find an engine... Original in good shape... So far, no luck...
Option 4 - Find a used Outlaw 525 IRS and keep mine for parts...

Any ideas where to look to find the best possible parts for the best possible price? Big Bore kit where to find them?

Thanks!

dude, that sucks. you really must have got that thing hot!

option 1 sucks! the head is $584.86 from polaris and $601.83 from KTM
option 2 sucks! its $1,000 for a 540 big bore kit from KTM, and i dont think that comes with a head either
option 3 cheapest, but yeah, good luck finding just an engine, it will be tough.
option 4 probably your best overall choice, depending on the condition of the machine. or maybe transplant that motor into yours and keep everything else for parts/ sell it for parts

I say check Ebay. You can get a complete used head for much less than new. I would recommend sending it to a machine shop for cleaning and new seals. Also a new piston, rings, gaskets and a cylinder bore are a good idea. Much cheaper than buying another quad.
Try this link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Polar...Q5fAccessories

Parts are ordered

Well, I ordered the parts for the engine directly from Polaris. While I was at it, I also ordered a new piston and gasket kit online. Can`t wait to put it all back together now. I also ordered a set of black plastic! It will be a bran new quad!
