2005 Polaris Sportsman 700 - Where's my voltage regulator?

Hello everyone, I'm currently a new (to me) owner of a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 700 (carb'ed version). It's a good shape now. I stripped off all the plastics, changed every fluid, cleaned everything, painted a few bare metal spots, re-assembled and was ready to go. So i thought. It has a new battery in it, but I'm getting the battery symbol flashing on me. The battery is charged, it's been sitting on a battery tender. After some research, it seems like the most likely culprit is a bad ecm or a bad voltage regulator.

I've looked my shop manual over and over and all I can find is the ecm. I don't see a voltage regulator anywhere, yet a number of posts refer to one. I found the part on ebay, but can't find a true polaris part number either. I'm at a loss. I'd like to get this resolved so I can get out riding.

Thanks!

Thanks. So it says it's located in front of the gas tank and it says "silver box 600/700" models. Is that part #24 here?
