Logandale Trail System

The Trail System is located 50 miles north of Las Vegas on the North Side of the Valley of Fire and the scenery is breathtaking: Fiery Red Rock Formations, Sandstone Cliffs, Native American Petroglyphs dating back thousands of years...these are just a few of the highlights of this awesome Off Road Area.
Many creatures call this place home including many varieties of lizards, snakes, spider, bighorn sheep, and even the protected Desert Tortoise.

A friend told me they had closed all of the side trails & you can only ride the main trail. Was that only for the summer or is everything open?
We rode the Bitterspring Trail New Years weekend, that's a nice one too.

As far as I know they have NEVER closed the trails. The trails can be ridden all year long. Just don't ride yoyr bikes on the roads the local law enforcement have been tough lately.

just got back yesterday form there,it's like my 30th time there,Wow what a scorcher<121 or 122>.and yes we where the only ones there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it is the place to ride in southern nevada.......it has a nice little dune area"becareful in the dunes do to the width of them.if your a fast rider, there's alot of slow riders there.amazingly the utility atv rider's don't wear nogg'in protection for some reason-mostly the elderly people?whats up with that??????????????some of those back country trails dead end,and those wash'es come out in logandale<not trails>ha ha.they do have some trails marked as closed, but when you come out there-from riding in a open trail, kinda hard to get in trouble for that!!!!!only reason the 50 have been kinda tuff is the local kids seem to think they can cruz every where!but bye law they don't have a drivers license........Beware of overton tho?why???they don't like us Off roader's!!!don't no why???we only bring income.there are 2 out house's there, main inlet also have a couple of covered picnic terrace's,then you enter into the dune area<that's to the left in the wash.you'll see the minni dumpsters.continue straight and you'll find a few great campsites.the place seems small, but really it's Big,way big in the back half.bring lot's of water and camp fire wood"no nails please!!!!!!!!!and don't bother the bighorn sheep.if we respect the trails, they'll be open and fee free forever
