This is the link for Utah ATVing. ATVUtah.com
Be sure and get the Charles Wells book for Moab, it is the Bible. You can order from the site above.
Tons of info there including GPS tracks. Several members of my club are going in Sept and I have been collecting GPS Tracks. I have over 700 miles of Moab Tracks and a hundred wpts, I have most all of Charles Wells tracks and have color coded them per his book. All my tracks are clean, no short segments or backtracking. When I get home I will PM you where you can get them. I will publish a transparent map in a few weeks that will work great if you have a Garmin.

Thanks so much, I will look into getting the book, I think I have his book for Wyoming and I have piles of notes, highlighted trails, and maps for both Colorado and Wyoming, but not Utah... its kinda what I live for in the summer...well that and Barrel racing he he. Yes I do have a Garmin so that will work great. Thanks so much for yer help!

The following links will take you to a site where you can download my tracks and maps. I have not made a map of Moab yet but will do so soon. I will also post the map on gpsfiledepot.com. The tracks are colored easy to hard as green-blue-red. The magenta is what I think are bicycle only. Others hopefully will chime in and correct any color coding errors I have made. If anyone has any tracks that I don't I would appreciate getting them so I can update before I make the map. These sites have other tracks and maps you may be interested in also.

Since I posted this earlier today I have gotten a couple of hundred miles of tracks I didn't have, that puts the total over 1000. I will post an updated map on the sites above this weekend so go back and get them then.

Moab's a great area and you'll have fun whenever you go, but if your schedule is flexible, be aware that the summers in Moab are hot hot hot. Spring and fall are the preferred times to visit Moab.

Not to stir trouble but I must point out the above track logs contain routes not legally open to ATVs or side by sides. They are any of the ones which pass into or through the National Parks and/or National Recreation areas. These areas are closed to ATV and side by side use by current laws and by the National Park Administration policies. But we are fighting to convince the Park Service to at least allow us to pass through on those roads and Jeep trails that simply pass through the park. At this time only licensed for highway use vehicles are allowed into the National Parks in Utah, or any other state as far as I know. You can drive a Jeep in the park but not a street legal RZR... stupid laws but thats the current situation.

There are hundreds of miles of trails near Moab. I just wanted to point out that in the track logs linked to here in this thread there were some routes that are not open to ATVs and side by sides, Jeeps yes, other OHVs no. I just wanted to point that out before someone unknowingly downloaded the file then goes out and tries to use these track logs to ride those routes that go inside the National Parks and ends up with a ticket or worse, having their machine impounded. Again the ones in the track log file that we ATV and side by side owners cant use are any of the the ones that go into or pass through the National Parks or National Recreation area.
There are enough trails near Moab to keep you busy for a Month or more if your inclined to go there and spend that much time. Just be aware of the laws banning ATVs and side by sides in the National Parks. So come on out and ride till your tush goes numb and falls off When your done in Moab we will find you another few thousand miles of trails to explore, I think at last count we have a little over a million miles of them here in Utah
