The trails are great there, the intensive use area are a place for people to run around and rip it up, some have jumps and others have water and mud holes. They have these so people rip them up instead of the trails.

I think Osseo has a decent motel. It right of off I94. Ive never actually rode right in the Black River Falls area, we just got back from the Fairchild area yesterday. The trails are great and quite dusty right now - havnt had much rain in that area for quite a while. Before this last trip I hadnt been over there since 09 when we had just a blast. I was kind of disappointed this last time. The majority of the intensive use or play areas as we call them were closed off and some even looked like they were leveled off by a bulldozer. In our 110 miles on the trail we only found 1 decent place to play just north of Fairchild. If your into straight trail riding that area is hard to beat. I dont think our next trip will be in that exact area , we like to get off the trail and get muddy even more than the trail riding so when they closed off the majority of the play areas we were pretty disapointed.
