Any places near Tuscaloosa, AL?

I'm about to be moving to Tuscaloosa, AL because of work, and will be looking for a place to ride, (and a place to hunt) if anyone knows of anything I would appreciate it!

I have some land in bibb county. About 3 miles from the Tuscaloosa county line on highway 82. I won't ride there during hunting season. I don't like people there when I'm not but I plan to come down summer 2012 if you wanted to come by and ride a few times while I'm there.

Stony Lonesome is about the only "official" place to ride around here unless you have land or know someone who does. It's about 1.5 hrs up the pike in Cullman county but by far an excellent place to spend a day, great trails.

Stony Lonesome OHV Park - Cullman County, AL

As for hunting, there's as much as you can stand. Just pick up a Classitides when you get to town, you can find them at any gas station. Also check on the board at Woods and Water on Skyland Blvd. Woods and Water is a huge outdoor/hunting/fishing store here in town. Cool store. There's a lot of hunting clubs with memberships right now due to the economy and all.

I'm assuming you have a Polaris since your on here. Our local dealer.....SUCKS...., don't waste your money with them and especially don't let them touch your machine. Take it to Hargrove Small Motors here in town.

Anything else just send my way, been in Tuscaloosa for 15 years now so I know a bit about the day-to-day.

There's also the Oakmulgee Wildlife Management Area in the Talladega National Forrest a bit south of town. I forgot about that...if your a public lands hunter. Been some big bucks and hogs come out of there.
