Just made a quick run out to the Rio Puerco (off the end of Southern for anyone in the area). The weather here is starting to cool off and you can actually stand to be out riding in the afternoon. I hadn't been to the southern part but had talked to some friends that run Jeeps and they said that there was some slick rock areas similar (in a much smaller scale) to Moab. So I got some coordinates and headed out.
Since I was by my self I couldn't try some of the more difficult routs. I am going back out on Wednesday afternoon with some friends to take another run at them. If anyone is in ABQ and would like to meet up, shoot me a PM.
