Like the title states I'm planning a trip to black mountain with about 7 or 8 people I work with. I just got back into riding back in spring and have never been to black mountain and was wondering what some of your experiences have been and what I can expect. It's a three hour drive just to get there will it be worth it? Thanks.

I've been there probably around twenty times. There are trails for every skill level and you can have an enjoyable weekend of riding. I went back when they also had off park rides that were guided and that was fantastic but you will be hard pressed to get a off park guided ride now. If you plan on riding more than a couple of days, you'll get bored. It's 6,000 acres and the trails are shared with jeeps and rock crawlers.
