Handheld GPS Recommendations?

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a handheld GPS unit for future trail riding. There are a number of options....not looking for something "cheap", but not looking for a "budget buster", either.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

Garmin Montana is the 1 to have now.
Oregon and Dakota
the old 60 and 70 series.

I see you have a Can Am 650 XT, not a cheap atv, I'd just get a Montana!

The Garmin Nuvi 500 or 550 came on the 800 XT Limited,
its out of production but a deal can be had,
can't download tracks to it but for
road and major trails and back tracking its good.

I have had a Garmin E-Trex legend for about 10 years now. Has all the features you will need. I use mine for Geocaching mostly. I always take it with me when I go for a "Death Ride" on the ATV.

Cheers.

I have a delorme PN-40 I bought a couple years ago. I even took the time one summer to create my own map of the mena trail system in it! It has worked great. I bought the custom ram mounts for it too.

My ATV-GURU bumpers ARE FOR SALE, front and rear, BRAND NEW. Me a reasonable offer and they are YOURS.

(As you probably already know, they are currently unavailable from TheAtvSuperstore.com /ATV-Guru for an undisclosed amount of time).
