Paiute Trail Advice

We are wanting to do part of the Paiute trail this summer. First time and I hear it is very nice but big--too big to cover in a week. I am looking for a good place to set up a pop up camper trailer as a base location for riding a nice section of the trail. Does anyone have any advice relating to a good camping location on this trail?

Lots of places to set up.
Beaver Mountain @ ... you guessed it, Big John Flat or the Puffer Lake area. Very high on the mountain & you get great thunder storms with even hail in the summertime. Rain Gear needed for the Paiute. Don't leave home without your rubbers.
Want to be closer to town? Fillmore & Fillmore (the north canyon) Canyon, Kanosh & Kanosh Canyon, Joseph, these would be less crowded. Richfield, Marysvale a little bit busier.
Get a map from the Forest Service, the National Geographic issue, should be about $12-$15. The map shows campgrounds on the trail.
Have fun & might even see you up there on the 17th-19th of July.
