CUSTOM: lock and ride ammo cans
I recently got the idea to attach a couple of ammo cans to my 850 XP so i went down to the military surplus store and got a couple for around 10$ a piece then i drilled a hole in the back and put down a small bead of silicone around each side and installed the lock down pin a little spray paint and here's the final product i think all together they costed me about 22 bucks a piece.

Looks good. A suggestion from someone who has been there and done that. You might want to use 2 mounts. This way the box will be more secure. That is what we use on our lock and ride seats at the shop. The 850xp paint on the side is cool!

i thought one would work fine until i mounted it on the wheeler i could see it slide around a bit i tightened the bottom nut more and it held down pretty solid, i was going to put another lock in it but when i went to line up the hole i couldnt make it reach

You could also just connect them together with a single piece of steel. Something that lies flat but holds them together...

I once made a L bracket for them. Place it on the front holes and that will work. I have one set of 2 left here at the shop I can ship out tomorrow morning USPS priority. Will take 2 days to get to you. Let me know. Or MAYBE second option is to make a solid pin the size of the hole and mount it to the front. This way it will not move. Kind of like they used to do with the original Sportsman rear lock and ride boxes. Man Im good!!!!!

i bought a set of four on ebay for a steal kind of my motavation to start this lil project a was planning on using the other two for another project i had in mind but i might take CWLONGSHOTS idea and center them in the middle get my mig welder going and just weld them both to the same plate and drill threw again and silicone up my old holes ill see how bad they move around first tho they may work just fine only time will tell

also just a heads up the lock and ride razor lockdowns are exactly the same when i ordered mine it said for razor and razor s kinda of worried me but i thought what the hell if they dont work i can just turn around and sell them
