I honestly never even thought of changing the shifter knob but after seeing some of the ones here, I guess it's on my to do list.

Finally got this drilled out and set. LOoks good and on there solid with no set screw. Filed down the old nipples down just enough for it to go over, and sit tight with a nice twist. Helps I had a freind with a drill press. If this picture doesnt show up let me know IM sharing off Facebook so not sure if it will work or not

I was walking through Wally world yesterday before I saw this post and saw this same exact Shifter. I actually saw the green with yellow flames on top and a white skull. Wasn't sure if they were gonna fit so I put them back. Now after seeing yours, I'm going to have to go back and pick them up for sure! I'm getting the green for my green 850X2 and the white for my sons grey 550XP

I had that green skull shifter knob from Walmart on mine, but it didn't seem like I could get the set screws on tight enough. The shifter was spinning a bit after some light use. I was kinda bummed because it looks cool.
