Passenger Footrests
Does anyone know if the footrests off of a sportsman x2 will fit on a normal sportsman somehow? Or where to buy a good quality set of them? Has anyone made/engineered their own? Thank you for ideas!

I ended up getting these from Cabela's for my `07 SP 800.
I like the idea of being able to adjust the height of the footrest & also
that you can flip it up when riding 1 up.
The footrest does rub the fender and leaves a mark if your worried
about cosmetics though.

Thor has some on theATVSuperstore.com I've been eyeing for mine. Seem high enough and out of the way enough for me. Plus minimal install.

Thanks for the Ideas. I think I could easily make a set just like the cabela's one's. They look shorter on their site then they do on your wheeler? Maybe they have changed them since. How are they attatched to your rack?

If anyone wants the ones like Cabelas has shot me a pm. I have those also (just not on the site) and can sell them for less than that price.

I believe they are make & model specific for fitment.
Here's a few more pics that show where they're attached & with
the footrests in the Up position.
PS. I had to play around with the foot well attachment part with grinding
off some of those little bumps on the foot well itself so the plate would sit flush.

Thanks for all the pics& info! I also just found a set on theatvsuperstore.com for only 45.99. It's more like a pedestal that bolts to the floorboard. Called Wes universal foot pedal. Thanks again!

my dad has the pedestal ones you are talking about that mount to the foot board. the only down fell to them is you lose your foot space. I made a set for mine the use a trailer flip up foot step. all you have to do is make a bracket. i did mine by using the rear to bolts that hold you stock foot well to the frame. and then just took flat iron and follow the curve of the rear fenders and the drill trough the flat iron and plastic to mount the steps they work great and can hold my full weight about 200 lbs and leave all the room in your foot well.
