Mounting Seat/Storage Box
Hey Guys:
I recently picked up my 2011 Sportsman 500. I was looking to mount the seat/storage box on the back rack, but came to the conclusion that I would have to drill into the rear rack in order to mount it. Being that the machine currently has .6 hrs on it I am really not too excited about drilling holes into it.
Has anybody come up with a way to mount these things with out drilling holes?
Thanks,
jeff

Are the racks different from the 2010 racks? On my 06 Sportsman we used muffler clamps to hold the seat on, looped the u-bolt through the rack and then drilled a couple holes in the box to bolt it on. My 2010 is going to be the same thing...only instead of the muffler clamps the box came with some u-bolt's...

Thanks for the input guys. The lock and ride attachments are the way to go I think. Thor; that seat you linked to looks awesome, but I woould like to try to use what I have so I can buy some bumpers.
