How to wire additional lights through my switch
I bought some additional 55 watt lights from Wally-World and I wanna wire them so that when I turn my low-beams on they come on too! I'm electrically challenged... Please advise!

Be Careful not to overload the switch!! The ONLY way I would do this is to run a relay. This will allow you to use the factory switch and not run all the power to light the lights thru the switch.
A relay is a small box with 4-5 wire terminals. One wire is ground, a second is fused power. These go to the battery. Third is a "trigger" wire. This one will be attached to the power side of the light you want to go on with your new lights. The last one (Or two depending on your relay) goes to the lights power side. Then you will need to ground the other side of the lights themselves. (Blk lead) and you have lights that will go on ONLY when what ever you attached the "trigger" wire too.
Good luck,
CW

I need to add lights to mine. The front lights are missing. I want to add those cheap 55 watt lights. Way cheaper than finding used lights. Especially since the PO cut off the light plug.
Does anyone know the rating of the switch? the bulb for an 02 Magnum says 30/30. so is this 60 watt for high beams?
Can i just run the 55watts off the low beam setting.
Maybe one bulb on low and both on high?
Thanks

extra lights
I had mounted 2 55 watt lights on the front rail but used an extra water proof rocker switch, worked well and did not get into the main wiring system. Just a hot wire with an inline fuse and a ground. But then make sure you mount them with a rubber cushion or they will vibrate and won't last long, bulbs break.

55 watt bulbs draw about 4.6 amps.
Looks like a 22 gauge wire will handle 5 amps.
Some switches are not designed to handle much of a load thats why we use a relay.
