You can go to Arctic Cat, Polaris, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Sea-doo, Can-Am dealer Muskegon, Michigan and look up both machines to compare the part numbers. I was going to look for you but I don't know what size sportsman you have

2004 and 2005 sportsmans are different generations, so no, it wont be a direct bolt on. Lots of modification to get it to fit
