Polaris Hand Guard Install.
I just purchased and started to install them this evening and was surprised, well not really at how the designed fit wasnt very good. Right side was easy, but the left side was a PITA. Has anyone installed the Polaris Part Number 2873524-053 and had to modify or make a spacer to get the top screw to attach? If I use the hardware included I need to bend the hell out of the guard to get thescrew to start.

I bought a set and returned them. Then bought a set of after markets. They where very similar and was going to return those when my wife said she wanted them. Her machine had more room so the install was easier.
I decided on a set Of Acrebis guards that attached at the ends of the bars. MUCH nicer IMHO. Plus I get protection from sides!
Try loosening everything as much as possible.
