Dust remediation modification on new XP's

After following my wife's 2011 550 XP, I noticed the downward pointing
exhaust pipe making large puffs in the dirt. This added considerable amounts of dust over and above the tire dust. I'm a plumber, so I dug
into my fitting box and applied a copper 1- 1/4" street 45' elbow to the
exhaust tip. It slides right in. Fastened it with one pop rivet. Painted it with a little BBQ black.
No more exhaust dust.

I also installed one on my 2011 550 X/2

I thought you would of sweated it in with 95/5. I have thought of some sort of exhaust tip myself. You have given me an idea of what to use.

That must be a BIG box of fittings you have. I am a plumbing wholesaler and we only sell about 25 of those a year.
Maybe now we will start selling more.

Thanks for the hint.
