Irrisescent tail lights
I bought a set of blue inserts for my RZR to make the tail lights look purple.... I got them in the mail today. I have to drill out the lens and seal them in...I will do that at work tomorrow and post up some pics as soon as I get done!!!

Yep!!! I got them from a Summit catalog..Blue Dot, Made by Mr.Gasket. My folks were in a hot rod club when I was younger. Lots of the other cars had these lights.

Make sure you position them directly over the end of the bulb, otherwise you do not get the full effect.

They were all the rage back in the early 60's because for some reason the state made them illegal. Didn't stop people from putting them in anyway. I guess it made them feel like outlaws or something. Of course back then they were made out of glass.

I had them in a Van I had back in the day.... 
Done correctly, they still look cool!! I agree you MUST get glass!

Here is a pic of them installed...... I can't get a pic of them on,....It is to bright and is just a blurr on the pic. I will wait till dark tonight and see if I can take one from a distance. They seem to work pretty good though.
