Polaris Lock and Ride Rear Cargo Rack Bag

Ordered this for my 08 Sportsman,
Amazon.com: New Genuine Polaris ATV Accessories / Lock and Ride Rear Cargo Rack Bag - 2005-08 Sportsman / Mossy Oak Break-Up / pt # 2875307-419: Automotive Amazon.com: New Genuine Polaris ATV Accessories / Lock and Ride Rear Cargo Rack Bag - 2005-08 Sportsman / Mossy Oak Break-Up / pt # 2875307-419: Automotive
,instructions say 10 seconds to get on and off, yea right! This thing was a pain to get on and the 2 rear Velcro straps, 2 side Velcro straps, and 2 front buckles didn't line up with anything on the rear rack. Am I missing something here?

Figured I'd post some pics in case anyone else ever gets this bag. Still trying to figure out how to get it on and off in 10 seconds.... LOL.

These were the holes that best lined up for the straps, holds it down pretty tight, but again, a real pain to get on and off.

I think they ment in seconds if you use the lock & ride anchor pins not the straps. The pins work in the same manner as a boat plug works.
Part no=2876420 You will need 2 if decide to use them instead of the straps.

Yea I understand how the lock and ride pins work, and I thought thats what I was getting. But this is the bag I recieved. Even if I purchased the lock-n-ride pins, there's no previsions on ths bag to use them? No holes or ways to attach them. The part # on my bag matches what I ordered, so I don't know. I was hoping someone else had this bag, to see what they got.

I think you have to make your own holes in the bottom so you can position the bag where you want it. Most places that sells lock & ride acc. don't furnish the pins, you have to buy them seperatly.

Have never seen a soft sided Polaris "Lock-n-Ride" cargo bag. Polaris does make soft sided bags, but none of them are lock-n-ride.

Also, the locking plugs come with the accessory, have purchased more than one lock-n-ride item and each came ready to mount, no issues.

I think the product description on the link you provided is wrong; however, it does clearly state that the bag attaches with "velcro straps"- that right there is a red star cluster telling you it is not a Polaris "Lock and Ride" product.

This is what you purchased:
SPORTSMAN REAR CARGO BAG from Pure Polaris Off-Road Vehicle Accessories & Apparel

A Polaris bag... yes... a "Lock and Ride" bag, no.

Just my worthless two cents...

Yea, I see the velcro strap description now. I got excited with the "10 second install time" and "Lock and ride" of the first section description and didn't see the last. Oh well, live and learn. Still really like the bag, just hoping for an easier removal and installation. Thanks...

Looks to me as if you fell for the marketing on this one! Sorry mani really HATE when companies do this shit! It's damn close to bait n switch as far as I an concerned!!

It's worded in such a way to think it's something it is not.

Glad it's at least a nice product. Good luck with it!

Yea I totally did, I'm usally really good at doing my research and reading the fine print, but this one fell through the cracks. I did write a review on Amazon, so hopefully someone wont make the same mistake I did.
