CB Radio help.

Hey guys, so I'm considering mounting a CB on the bike and wanted some conversation on it. So far, after tons of searching, it seems most people use FRS/GPRS or cellular. If you're into jeeps, they roll CB on the trails. Just curious if they really are this vague around here or if I'm just missing the existing conversations.

Thanks!

That is correct. Most mounted CBs are CB hand held. Its easier to mount and really works fine. What are you planning to do?

Morning,
Our group was considering this after our last outing. We also decided to go FRS/GMRS as we had these and with the addition of microphones will give them a go for next week.

The antennas required for the CB are a real safety concern as they whip around could take out an eye easily. FRS is also common for the weather radios frequencies. VOX compatibility with the FRS is also quite desirable.
