Talking Mud flaps

Today I changed my oil and put in a 12v plug in the rear box. I remembered i needed to look i to something to keep back seat passanger cleaner. My Big Hornes are a bit wider then stock so the spray a bit more then they should.

I took some heavy rubber sheeting and cut to shape. I attached to the first "rib" of the front portion of the footwell. I attached it with 1/4x20 carrage bolts and nylock nuts.

Out back I had visions of those trucker "back off" flaps. But just didn't like the look. So I grabbed a piece of scrap diamond plate and trimmed and bent till I had a shape I liked. I attached it with a few pop rivets. I don't know its gonna do a whole lot. But its something and it looks OK to me....

What do you think?

Thanks man!

Looking at my pics the front ones look like ass... But in person they are barely noticeable, being black and all... I think they will do exactly what I want and need... keep momma clean (er)

The rears, are questionable as to exactly what they will do. But I too like the looks of them and diamond plate.

Please let us know how they work. Doesn't your box already protect the passenger from the rear tires? The diamond plate does look sharp though.

The passanger is pretty good from the back, some gets to her. But the back of the box...OMG... Hoping to keep it a bit cleaner...

I'll get it outta the garage in the next couple days and snap some better shots.
