Yep same here, I had it sand blasted and sprayed with high heat paint and it only lasted a couple of days.

I might try to get it powder coated, what do you guys think?

Powder coat just might work. Thinking outside the box-punn intended. Don't know if this will work either but what about using Tuff Stuff bed liner? Seeing it used more & more in other applications. Just a thought!

I know dupli-color makes paint that's called header paint. It's supposed to be able to handle the temps of headers on muscle cars. Or get it ceramic coated but your asking big bucks.

for what it would cost you to get it powder coated or so on you might aswell just buy a FMF,HMF or HotSeatPerformance stainless or aluminum exhaust. get more power from the bike, and it won't rust. and the extra performance and sound is a +

I do a little powder coating here at home and I thought about coating mine too,There are high temp powders to withstand 1000 deg f. but limited colors, silver and grey.Any idea how hot it actually gets?Normal powders cure at 400 deg f. so if it stays less than that any powder would do.That would mean you could do it about any color you want
