Warning / Safety stickers

Has anyone tried and succeeded in removing the warning / safety stickers on the left front fender and the "no one under 16" sticker by the fuel filter cap on a 2010 or newer sportsman 500? These are not your average heat and remove stickers like on the earlier years. I tried a heat gun with a razor blade and cant even lift a corner to get the decal started. The 2 on the left rear fender came right off. Thanks, George.

I just bought a 2011 500HO and used a hair dryer to loosen it up and peel it off. A little goo gone and it's like the sticker was never there.

I used a professional heat gun on high and these stickers will not budge. I had the fender so hot you could not touch it and still nothing. I used a razor blade to try and get under a corner of it and no go. Polaris must have used something different on some of these machines because I googled this and have read where others are having no luck removing these stickers either. The back fender stickers came off easily its just the left front fender and the one by the gas cap that will not budge and yes "Stelthepooty" I did a search here before I posted this and did not find anything on removing these "special" stickers. Lots of posts on the easy stickers but nothing on these.............George.

Man I don't know what to tell you. I have a 2010 Sportman 500 also and used the hair dryer and goo gone as well. Maybe try wiping the stickers with goo gone or goof off first and letting it try and work its way in around the stickers and then try the heat gun. Good luck.

I left my ride setting out in the sun several hours one afternoon and they peeled right off. The temp in the shade was 105 degrees.

I'll stop by the Polaris dealer later this week and ask them whats up with these stickers. I used to remove stickers from utility company vehiles that were going to the auction so I've had alot of experience with stubborn stickers but never had any that I couldnt remove with a heat gun and WD40 until now. I'll let you all know what the dealer says.

I removed mine pretty easily just by hand. They came off in lots of small pieces, but I got them all off. After the stickers came off there was lots of sticky stuff left on the plastic...so I sprayed it with carb cleaner then wiped it off. Whole process took about 15 minutes.

I left mine out in the sun (triple digits daily). They peeled off in large pieces. Took about 5 min to do them all. Didn't even need goo gone afterwards. Must have been madevon a Fri pm or Mon am.....

I have a 07 500 same problem got all the stickers off but those 2 would not budge I think they used clearcoat over it. You can't feel an edge on those like the others
