2011 Sportsman 500 H.O Front Guard
Has anyone been able to find an aftermarket front guard for a 2011 Sportsman 500 H.O yet? I called the guys in Hot Springs, AR a few months back and they didnt have them yet. Thanks.

Just received word from the factory. "Thor we are designing this weekend. I have the 12 now , the '11's coming in the am and it looks very do-able"

The fronts are a challenge. Have to make it fit both the 2011 & 12. They changed the 12 so we have a issue with the front box opening the way it does. But we will get er done!

Just got a update from the factory.
John is designing on the 12 with the front box lid problem and it will fit the 11. As John will tell you the space over the 12 lights is tight with the big box lid. I can only imagine how downright ugly some of the other brands are for the 12 design.

Why not have it flip forward, (in latch it and flip .) like the guards on the big trucks??

Thought about that. Only problem would be that you would have to get off the quad to release the bumper. Many like myself use the front box and like to access it from the seat.

Thought about that. Only problem would be that you would have to get off the quad to release the bumper. Many like myself use the front box and like to access it from the seat. |
