polaris lock & ride windshield
wondering about getting one, are the tall one's solid on there or a mid better, i heard that the tall move's around alot, i am around 6'2" with boot's on, probally use it the most in the winter, those frozen lake wind's/snow get pretty nasty some time's, i think it would need to be pretty solid, thank's all...

I have the Mid-Height Lock & Ride on my XP and I love it, the mid height will still put a little breeze on the top of your helmet but for the most part you are shielded, the lack of breeze on the hands is very nice also as it's not cold enough here to run handwarmers but definately chills the fingers on a winters day. A few of the guys said it looked stupid but I wasn't the stupid looking one at the end of the day and one of the guys "sorta!!??" wants one for his Kingquad now.....
Best Regards - MM

Tall Lock 'n Ride Windshield
My tall windshield stays put. Gotta tighten the knobs on the hinge points is all. You are right, about the cold. That's when I "enjoy" my tall windshield the most, making the runs over the open ice.

I have the tall, and a riding buddy has the mid. I'm 6' and only use it in winter. it does a great job blocking wind/snow and doesnt "move" around at all. My buddy is 6'4" and gets a breeze in the face. He likes that he can look over the top of the mid shield, and says mine make hillclimbs awkward cause it hits your chest when standing and leaning. It doesnt bother me.
