Depends which make. Ours has 6 mounting points & is so strong you can lift the quad off the ground with the bumper!

I really like the bumpers you sell price is good too but shipping to canada is always a price killer if shipping wasnt that bad i would have bought one already and a set of grim reapers.
I wanted to know how the polaris deluxe bumper mounts.

Shipping is really not that bad for the size & weight of the bumpers. About 30% of our bumper sales is too Canada. Remember you get what you pay for. Not to mention the OEM's are made in China!  Plus can the OEM's do this?

When I installed mine, I reused the two upper bolts to secure the top, then the supplied bolts for the bottom two. Then once they were secured I installed the two outer sections. The bolts are easily spotted above and below the grill. It's a solid unit. I don't know if you could suspend the machine by them, but I bought them for protection from smaller trees and brush. The finish is pretty resilient, in my opinion.
Thor's brushguard looks like it came out of a Mad Max movie! Pretty ferocious! I don't need anything that strong as I am a wimpy assed ATV rider. I don't punish her. If I did, I'd get the Thor Approved Mad Max edition. Then watch out Tina Turner! LOL!

I really like the look of the viper bumper but i would like to get some tabs to mount lights.
Is that a possibility?

Polaris front brush guard mounts to the 4 bolts that hold the plastic nose piece on mounted to the aluminum sub frame.
The ATV Guru bumpers mount to the top 4 holes same as the Polaris brush guard, then also to the bottom 2 mounts where the winch and plow mounts to the frame, a lot stronger and protects the lower front of the ATV.
