05 Sportsman 500 Touring Seat Conversion

In 2005 they didn't appear to make a touring model, however looking at a 2008 in the parts manual they did. I own a 2005 and would like to have a second seat option and wondering if a Touring seat will work on mine or if there are other differences?

The 2005 & 2008 us the exact same solo seat (p/n 2685076-070) which makes me think it should work.

Anyone ever done this or have any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
