Transmission problems

On my 07 700 efi, the spring pin started to fall out and made a grove in the tranny case....this caused the oil to leak out and water to get in and ruin all the bearings.

We took the case to a metal shop and had them aluminum weld it and bought all new bearings and seals to rebuild it.

Has anybody else had this problem!????

Yes this is a known issue with the role pins backing out and causing this issue. I take the role pins out and replace with grade 8 bolts and loctite.
