I'm jealous. I'm still waiting for the new front
Cobra design to show up on their website before I decide
to buy the rear and new front. I wish they would post a pic
of the new design at least. That way I can make up
my mind and either buy the rear now
and wait for the front or go with something else on both ends.

i came home and installed the Cobra on my x2/ fit absolutely perfect, all bolts line up exactly/ that's why you pay more for good stuff. now i just have to get the Viper front to my dad for his 850 Touring.

FORREST/ if your talking about the 550/850 xp/x2 Cobra. they have been out for a while, that is what I've got. they had to stop the orders because they are so backed up in manufacturing them. If you want very good fit and quality I would wait for them myself. Rich

Yes, waiting on the backlog to clear so I can
order a Cobra front guard for my 12 850. However,
according to the site there is a new design coming
for the Cobra front guard and so I'm waiting for
those details as well to see if it's something I'll want.
If it works for me then I'd order the Rear Cobra right away
while waiting for the Front Cobra guard. If the new design
doesn't do it for me then I'll look at other alternatives for
both front and rear, probably Polaris.

I didn't know there was a new Cobra being designed. I am going to order the matching Cobra rear bumper for my 2011 x2 as soon as the funds allow it.

Was there a cost increase from the old Cobra front to the new design? Thor has the new one listed at about $268 + shipping. I can't recall what the old one was going for. I know the Viper is still under $200.

Hey Thor is there any timetable even a rough one of when the new bumpers are gonna be available. I have a 2011 850X2 and get my taxes back next month. Was really looking forward to getting one. And the rear one as well.

Pricing should be set in the new few weeks. We just need to get the metal back and build 5 test units. The price I show on the site is not correct. We are tying to make it less.
