I got some valuable replies, thank you guys, and now are in the hunt for Kenda htr bear claws.

Issue I'm finding is mounting, lugs and if I need offset, which I don't like because it slings mud past the wheel wells as my buddy's Suzuki does.

I'm going exact factory sized rims and tires 25x12 inch rims 10's back, 8 fronts.

Hoping I can do this without offsetting.

They shouldn't need offset rims. If you do run into clearence issues you can do a tie-rod end flip or pick-up a 1/4" spacer off eBay or Amazon.

The little purple truck pictured has regular Bear Claws, not the HTR's. I bought the 26" Bear Claw HTR's in January 2016 and I love them! I haven't even put my Polaris Sportsman in 4WD since getting my new tires & wheels, I haven't needed to which totally surprised me. They're very comfortable on harder terrain too. I ride a lot around my house where there isn't any mud or sand and they ride nice. I think they look pretty good too. Good luck and enjoy your new tires...

Lolly, Yes these are for the 800. The MudLites will be placed on 'backup' duty in the shed. Reason I'm replacing them is that during one of our last rides or mowing visits to the farm the left front tires received about a 1.5" cut to the sidewall and now has a very slow leak. So thinking I'll have my tire guy patch the inner tire (I know, I know it's a sidewall and that's taboo) and tube it to boot.

So.... are you saying they suck? That is if you need to be winched out of every mud hole?

I have the MudLites.... They've been a fair tire. For the trail riding I do they ride a little rough, and don't have the best traction on plowed (or while plowing) snow. But in Mud and Snow they dig! But, I'm also currently replacing them due to a sidewall cut that one received sometime during one of my last couple outings??!!

If you go factory size you shouldn't need any offset, but may of the popular aftermarket rims already come with the 4+3 (wider stance) offset. Although during my search I did find a few that had the factory offset (5+2, I think???).
