I was on YouTube and just saw the videos of these and came on here to see if anyone had talked about them. They seem like a neat idea, but I wonder if they really enhance the capability of your machine? Can I really go through mud and snow better? Obviously they are not intended for trail riding due to the added width.
Besides the mentioned hub stress issues, I was wondering about axles. When you stick in the mud, can your axles really support turning all that added tire width that is straining for traction?
I would love to ride a machine with them on just to see what it was like. It says it adds enough buoyancy to float most ATVs, I would like to see if they could drive an ATV on water. That would make it worth $600.
