smaller tires

I have a 2016 ranger highlifter with 28"x9x14 and 28x11x14 outlaw tires . I want to put some trail tire and wheel on it. I found a good deal on some new take offs but they are 26x9x12 and 26x11x12. wiil thet work?

NO.... Long story short....You cannot replace a 14" diameter wheel with a 12".

As the brake rotors/calipers are larger on the XP & HighLifter models, and will require to be replaced with a 14" wheel/tire combo.

If I was you, I'd just replace the tires with a little less aggressive thread pattern.... and try to find a tire with a more solid center rib/tread. This will give you a smoother ride... but likely a little less mud/snow traction.

I would highly recommend a 28-9-14 and 28-11-14 Kenda Bearclaw HTR as an outstanding trail tire.

yes dont make sense. just wanted something less aggressive then the outlaw's it came with for trail riding.found good deal on the 26's.think going to order new tire and wheel set.then can switch back and forth from trail to mudding.
