New to ATVS and this forum - tire size ??

Hi -

I just bought a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 x2.....It is going to need new tires soon. I found some rims and tires off of a Polaris Sportsman 850....rear 26x10-14 and 2 front 26x8-14 .......will these fit on my new ATV?

Thanks !

Assuming you have stock rims (which are 12") these will not fit unless you also got the 14" rim to mount them on.

The wheels will be the problem. From what I've read, the XP wheels have a different offset than the regular Sportsman. If I remember correctly, you may have to use wheel spacers.

Also, the lug studs and lug nuts have a different pitch on their threads. You may have to get new lug studs and lug nuts.

I would advise you to see if you could try the wheels on your bike before you do the deal.

Good luck and if you get them, we need pics! lol
