smoothest tire?

I have a 2011 850 eps and I'm looking for the softest and the smoothest tires I can buy, all I do is trail ride on hard and some what rocky ground, I want a good radial tire. also I going to use the stock rims. Thanks for your input.

On my 2011 850 xp eps, i have 27 inch 589's on 14 inch rims. very nice so far, very smooth plus really dependable in the mudd. I cant wait till the snow is here so i can see them in action, since they are a snow and mudd tire. On my 2010 500 ho i have 27 itp xtr's and they are really good too, really throw mudd.

Maxxis Bighorns. 6 ply radial tire, smooth ride works great on hard pack, sand, rocks and snow. Not a lot of mud here in Colo. but what little I've been in, they worked great. Only tire I will buy. 26's on both my '11 850 and wifes '09 500

Get the Grim Reapers! I love mine. We were in Custer SD and on the black top doing 55+ they were awesome! Great tread life + 8ply also. We are running a great deal on them now also! Feel free to call the shop and ask for me. I can tell you all about them and what they can do!

GRIM REAPER RADIAL TIRE KIT (4 tires)

Then you really need to call the shop and talk! I have suffered from a bad back for many years. Here to 6 pm today.

Thor

Having owned both tires they are both smooth. The Grims are a better all around tire for mud, snow, sand and dirt. I felt that the BH's on the trail were sloppy on the turns. They just do not have the grip of the Grims. I had BH's for about 1K trail miles and the Girms for 2K trail miles so far. I like them so much I just ordered a new set of wheels for my XP and got them again! Now I will have one set on my stock wheels and one on the new wheels we are testing for the store.

Personally I cannot comment on the smoothest as I have NOT ridden on every tire out there.. Some of us here have redden quite a few, but NO ONE has ridden on all. So what your gonna get here is everyone's favorites.

I know Thor has had the BH's on his 800 and now has GR's on his XP. So his will be an accurate comparison of those two.

I have had the stock PTX tires and now BH's on my current machine. Mud Lites, Wooly Boogers and Trail Blazers. The last three are not as smooth as my BH's. The BH's are MUCH smoother than the PTX tires.

Having said, that, Thor will not steer you wrong!
