Tire sidewall damage question
A rock or stick damaged the sidewall on the rear tire (Carlisle AT489 25X11-12) as shown in the picture. The tire did not go flat (and still hasn't). How worried should I be? Is there a repair for this? Should I replace tire (it only has 250 miles on it)?

A hard call. If you have the money replace the tire. If money is short, go to a tire shop that repairs semi truck tires. Have them glue on a small round patch inside where the cut is, then glue a tire boot over that. That spot will always be weak, but it should get you by for awhile. Keep a close eye on it.

I agree with Hawkeye 007. Better to replace it now while the other 3 only have 250 miles on them. This way the wear will not be noticed as much.
