25 inch maxxis zilla tread depth

Have a bone stock 2004 sportsman 500 HO 4x4.

Cant decide between which tires to get, I like the maxxis zilla's in these sizes. 4wheelparts has a good price on them.

25x8x12 and 25x10x12 or
26x9x12 and 26x11x12

tread depth is only 3/4" on the 25's and 1 3/16" on the 26" tires. My question is there much ride difference in the 25 and 26 considering the tread depth difference? The wife will ride this 90% of the time.

Personally I would stay with the 25 inch. I have had 2 04 Polaris Sportsman 500's. They are not overpowered although do just fine.

Zillas measure small and are extremly light , if you can go for the 26" . I had 27" on my 04 and had no issues at all
