2" Wider Tires

Hi, I have a 2010 Sportsman 500 ho. I am looking at buyying new tires for my av. If I put two inch wider tires on the front and rear, am I going to need to buy spacers? I think I will be okay in the back but I am not sure about the front. I really don't want my tires to rub on the suspesion or any thing else.

In a word, YES.

10's up front WILL need spacers. 12's out back likely the same depending on make of tire.

Maybe and maybe not. It depends on the tire itself. (Some have side lugs making them wider thru the tread than the carcass.)

Again assuming your keeping them mounted to stock rims...

Cw is spot on, here's my 25x8x12 spartacus in the front. Not much clearance from the TRE's. I imagine if I got the 9's I'd be needing some spacers let alone 10's Some tires run more true to size than others. Rears don't tend to be a problem until greater than 12's on the 500's from what I've read.

So as far as the zilla's, if you stay on stock rims you'll probably need some spacers in the front (it'll be close) but the rears will be fine.
