Exclamation 27" mudlites..will they fit?

I found a good deal on some 27x9x12 & 27x10x12 mudlites. Before i pick them up this weekend, i was wondering will i have any problems clearing these on my 2011 sp 500? i know i should be fine height wise, but what about width? Thanks

AHH.. but on what rims??

Your gonna need new rims with less back spacing OR spacers to move the tires out from under the machine...
THEN maybe think on a clutch kit....

Most likely yes. (But its close)

On my machine my 26x9 Big Horns would not clear. I simply bought and installed 1" spacers.
Some people find that flipping the TREs and re aligning gets them the needed clearance.
others also find for less than 1/8" more thick grade 8 washers on the studs gains them enough. (Grade 8 because they tend to be thicker. NOT for any strength gains)

Word of warning: Be sure you have long enough studs AND the fewer washers the better. (I don't like even mentioning it and personally would only use ONE washer per stud if I needed it.)

Some claim the spacers offer allot of leverage to the hubs and destroy bearings fast. While they are correct in that there is more leverage applied, I offer its no more than a rim with less offset would and very likely less! Besides, people buy new rims with out a single thought about the leverage...

We are talking minimal numbers here. Like 1" even a less BS rim would be 2" or more...

I would not worry.

Your quite welcome, I am happy to help,

CW
