Can't get an answer!

I have a 1997 Polaris xplorer 500 it has 25x12x10 on the rear and 25x8x12 on the front I'm told all are 4/156 bolt pattern. I found a set of tires and rims off a Razor for sale really nice! But no one knows the offset! How will these change the width of my machine? I even called a dealer! Any help? Thank you kindly!

What are the rims? Steel or alloy?

I bought a set of alloys off a RZRs I needed a little extra space as the tires where 12 wide out back and 9 in the fornt as opposed to 11 out back stock and 8 in the front. SO I bought 1" spacers and I was good to go!

Must be alloy pretty fancy looking for steel. I'm told could be an issue with rear lug nuts flange vs flat? How much would these spacers cost?

I'm not at the same location as my ATV right now it's at the farm 100 miles south of me. Was hoping to buy these today sellers says 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 offset? Will I need spacers?

Mornin!! Just checked a sponsors site & spacers run from $90 to $120 a set.
Lug nuts to fit the rims around $30. I suggest giving Thor a call & he can probably get them cheaper & answer your questions.

Good catch,
sorry I should have mentioned the lug nuts AND STUDS!!

See Polaris chose to make TWO different length wheel studs... Longer ones are for alloy wheels and WILL be required if yours are the shorter steel variety.

Then also a YES alloys use a automotive "acorn" style. Where as the steel rims use a captured flat washer style that will NOT work on the alloys.

I bought one set of mine at the dealer and another online thru EBay. IIRC 50$ a set of two...

Also YES the lug spacing on the RZR rims is four holes in a 156mm circle. Now a standard for Polaris machines. Some older solid axle Polaris machines had a four on four bolt circle.

This is the rim style I bought:

The back spacing is, 4.5" in the front and 6" in the rear rims. Again these are off a 2010 RZRs.

Good luck,
CW
