whats a good general use tire? snow, trails, woods, etc.

So as I look through the wheel and tire section of the forum, I see there is quite a lot to tires... good grief....
Mine need to be replaced. I need a good general use tire that will be good for going through the woods, some trail riding, and snow removal in the winter... nothing crazy and no sand.
oh, and they are going on a 2008 Sportsman 800 EFI... thanks! Mark

The Grim Reaper is the best tire on the market IMO. Over 2200 miles on them and they still look awesome! Here is a pic showing a new one and one with 2200 on it.

The cheapest, quickest place I could... theatvsuperstore.com ;-).
LOL.. No joke, night and day from the stock tires. I was looking for a snow tire and Thor gave the Grims two giant thumbs up. I also put HD springs in all 4 corners and was happy with the improved ride.

I also like Big Horns. However, the Reapers look great, and I've heard good things about them. Haven't seen any in action though. The Spartacus is another great looking tire... and probably better in mud.

With that said, my next tires will be the new Bear Claw II's... 8ply radials with an excellent tread pattern. After trying my buddies on my quad, I was impressed. Of course, by the time my Horn's wear out, there will probably be a bunch of new tires on the market. By that time I will also see how his Bear Claw II's hold up.

I agree with CW. I'm a fan of the Bighorns.

Day 1 with new XP

Day 2 with new XP

Well, it's not my place, or my site, but I knew it wouldn't take long for some "links" to buy stuff over at Highlifter would start showing themselves.

Maybe Highlifter would like to become a sponsor here?
