tire question
hey guys been a while since ive been on here
i have a question about ordering some tires for my stock rims.
I am looking into purchasing some kenda executioners and i want to keep the stock rims,
the fronts come in the same size as the rims but the rears are 25x11x12(stock)
would i be able to fit 25x10x12 or 25x12x12?
i found a great deal on the executioners and im really looking to stay in the $350 Price Range.

You shouldnt have a problem running those on stock rims. How wide are your stock tires? You will love having some extra width in the rear, I am running a 12" wide tire in the on both of my bikes. But I do have aftermarket rims too.

The set I am looking at has the rears at 25x10x12, my friend has the same ones on his grizzly and he loves em and they are plenty wide. Im just curious as to whether the 25x10x12 tires will mount on the stock rims which the stock tires are 25x11x12. The tire lingo doesn't make sense to me.

25X10-12 Will mount on the rear no problems at all. 25X10-12 will not mount on the front. You will need 25x8-12 for the front. Actually a 25-10-12, 25-11-12 and 25-12-12 will mount on the rear, but you can't go more then 8" wide on the front without going with spacers on the front wheels.

I'm going to order a set of these as well but I've heard the executioners run small so I was was going to order 26" tall instead of 25". Does anybody know if they actually run small? If they are actually 26" will they fit a stock sportsman 500?

If the wheel wells on the 2010 are similair to the 2011 you should be able to stuff 28" tall tires under that 500 no problem. I wouldn't worry about 26" tires they will clear easy!
My buddies 2006 500 Sportsman clears 27" ITP mud Lites no problem.
