2010 850xp wheel questions
I have a 2010 850 xp with the 14in aluminum wheels and recently upgraded from the stock 26in tires to some 27in mudlite xtr's. My question is, what wheels are there out that are close to the stock size (backspacing) that look nice. I want to change the stock ones out to something else, but I have read that all the ITP wheels have a bad offset for the xp bikes. I just don't want to spend the money and then have to sell them cause they don't work. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Seriously?
I have been shopping for the new 850 HO and was excited (until now) that I could keep my mud tires off my 800, the 27" ITP Mudlight XTR's on 14" rims, so you guys are saying they won't fit on the XP, or would I have to get a lift kit or some spacers?

At Challenger, I have decided that i'm gonna keep the stock wheels. To answer your question Lolly, your old setup should work on the XP. The only issue you may have is they may tick out past the edge of the wheel well. Might make for a dirty ride, but should fit.

Ok
COOL!!! They already stick out on my 800 so that is not a big deal, I thought maybe they would rub the suspension or something.. I got my second kid due and I am trying to get the big beast with using as many of my add-ons as possible. I had a buddy get his 500HO repo'd so he gave me his winch and storage box, so I figure all I need is the wheeler and extended warranty (which I used big time on my 800) Thanks!

I am at 5 years and love them, I have had rim issues, but I think that is just the fact they are aluminum and just break vs the steel that will just bend, I put a big hole in my stock rims on one of my first rides, and then put 2 little holes in the ITP rims, got 2 of the holes covered under warranty and the 3rd time I had to pay some pro-rated price on the rims. I hit a stump on my last ride and got half a tree stuck between the rubber and the rim and did not lose any air, but these tires have been great and are awesome to plow with.. I always hear people talking about the zilla's but no one really about the XTR's, I love them as they are a smooth trail tire and nice aggressive mud tire!
Since I have them (and on the true 4 wheel drive Popo) I am always the first through the big water holes and the one who has (gets) to go back through to push out the 3 wheel drive Grizzlies n Brute Force and the crappy Visco lock Can-Ham 1000 and 650...
Here is a pic of half our group, than Can-am 1000 is pretty sick, but notice it now looks like the Brute force and now has the same weight of the Polaris, what a bunch of copy cats... Also all that speed means is we have to pack a bigger first aid kit on rides!

I purchased new wheels and tires from Thor at TheATVSuperstore. They do stick out further than the stock but not too bad. They are the STI C7 wheels in aluminum and black. I will try and post pictures, I just have to open a photobucket account! Thor has posted pictures of these wheels.
Challenger, I would like to sell my stock 14" aluminum wheels with the stock tires. The tire have about 75 miles on them. PM me if you are interested.

No problem's yet cracking a stock wheel. No rock's down here to cut up a tire either!
